Walmart: Baker And Packager Associate

Position Summary
Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members, following recipes and packaging, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure the freshest items for members to take home. You will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. It’s hard work, but the team finds it rewarding as part of a large, collaborative group focused on happy, satisfied members.

What you'll do

Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team and be flexible to the needs of the business.

Prepare bakery department merchandise by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling and storing items according to company policies and food safety standards.

Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and support associate engagement.

Maintain operational excellence by ensuring quality and date control, minimizing waste, and assisting members with purchases.

Advocate for the department and maintain high quality service, executing duties at the highest possible level.

Comply with company policies and ethical standards, applying the Open Door Policy.

Complete work assignments, prioritize tasks, collaborate with managers and peers, determine improvement opportunities, and adapt to change.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
