Travel Orthopedic Nurse
Provide specialized orthopedic care as a Travel RN in a high-acuity, magnet-designated hospital setting. Deliver patient-centered nursing services focused on orthopedic and spine surgeries while ensuring optimal outcomes and safety.
Administer comprehensive orthopedic patient care, including post-operative assessments and interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Utilize EMR systems to document patient progress, treatments, and procedures accurately.
Educate patients and families on post-surgical care, mobility, and pain management.
Maintain strict adherence to unit protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices.
Support smooth unit operations by assisting with patient flow and equipment management.
Valid RN license and current Colorado state licensure.
Minimum of 1-year recent orthopedic or med/surg RN experience in an acute care environment.
Demonstrated proficiency with orthopedic procedures such as total joint replacements and spine surgeries.
