Travel Nurse Home Health RN Day Shift Job

Registered Nurse – Pre-Admission Services (PAS), OR specialty, Hermiston, Oregon, United States. This travel assignment begins 06/29/2026 for a 12-week duration with guaranteed 40 hours per week on a 5x8 Day shift. You will work in a critical access hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,233 to $2,315 per week.

• Contract duration: Shift: Day shift, 5x8, typically 08:00–16:30 (Mon–Fri)
• Setting: Pre-admission/perioperative services in a critical access hospital

Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments via telephone and in-person visits to evaluate readiness for surgery and anesthesia.

• Review medical history, current medications, allergies, and prior anesthesia experiences; identify risks using evidence-based screening tools and protocols.
• Coordinate pre-operative testing, consultations, and medical clearances; document assessments and manage orders/results in the electronic health record.
• Provide patient education tailored to individual needs about pre-operative preparation, anesthesia options, and post-operative expectations; Communicate assessment findings and recommendations clearly to anesthesia providers, surgeons, and the perioperative care team; participate in multidisciplinary planning and care coordination.
• Maintain patient advocacy and safety, ensure infection control practices, HIPAA compliance, and clinical documentation accuracy; Licenses: Current, unrestricted registered nurse licenses in Oregon and Washington.
• CRASE training required (if travel extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required); Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience; prior surgical experience and Epic electronic health record experience strongly preferred; proficient in patient education and discharge planning.
