We are seeking an exceptional entrepreneur to make a difference in Macomb, IL and become our newest Shelter Insurance Agent.
Responsibilities
Meet new people, develop new contacts, and become known in your community.
Serve your community and help people protect what matters to them.
Grow your sales, business, and networking skills to new heights.
Control your own income and build your own agency as a business owner.
Develop a business plan, prospect for clients, and responsibly manage client relationships.
Possibly bring on staff to help with general administrative duties and sales as your agency grows.
Sell Shelter Insurance products and develop prospects in your agency market.
What is Required / Qualifications
A motivated attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit with the capacity to communicate effectively with clients in a sales atmosphere.
Some sales experience and a degree with general business courses is helpful, but not required.
Training and education: in-house and virtual new agent training schools, plus continuing industry education courses.
No capital/assets are required on hand to be considered for an agency.
Shelter does not loan money to begin an agency; the opportunity is provided with expectations to meet sales requirements and core business proficiencies.
