The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family centered care. The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost effective patient care.

Registered Nurse

Experience: 3 + years of experience working in a Pacemaker/ICD clinic.

Perform and/or assist with in-clinic device checks and interrogations.

Monitor and review remote device transmissions and alerts, escalating abnormal findings as appropriate.

Provide patient and family education regarding device care, remote monitoring, activity, and symptoms requiring medical attention.

Collaborate closely with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, device representatives, and other healthcare professionals.

Coordinate follow-up care and communicate device-related information across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Document device evaluations, clinical findings, interventions, and follow-up plans accurately and timely.

Support the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care within the hospital's Cardiology/Pacemaker-ICD Clinic.
