Medical Coder (Surgery) - Fully Remote!
$23 - $35 per hourInsight Global
This is a remote 6‑month contract outpatient surgical coder role with a potential extension or permanent conversion. Review coding denials to determine accurate coding, add additional codes if required, and correct denials without writing appeals. Focus on outpatient surgical coding within the facility. Perform 3‑5 reviews per hour to meet performance standards.
2–5 years of hospital surgical coding experience
Experience with outpatient coding
CCS, CPC, RHIA or RHIT certifications
Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and coding guidelines
Epic experience
