As a Security Officer Credential Verification in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic utilities location where you will monitor entry points, manage badges and access permissions, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this access control role, you will help support a secure environment through visible presence and strong attention to detail, while reflecting a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.
Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site access requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, communicating clearly with site contacts and/or emergency responders, and following post orders for restricted areas.
Security-related experience of 2+ years is required.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
