Pediatric RadiologistThe University of Illinois College of Medicine/University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System Department of Radiology seeks candidates for an open-rank faculty position in Pediatric Radiologist to meet the needs of patient care.Duties & ResponsibilitiesParticipation in direct patient careInvolvement in the formal education of traineesSupervision of residents and medical studentsProvide radiology services by reading and interpreting pediatric x-ray, ultrasound, CT, etc. imaging in a timely mannerCommunicate the results and diagnosis to physicianDirecting radiology staff to perform diagnostic procedures on patients, as per physician ordersPerform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree and possess a medical license Qualified applicants must also be certified (or eligible if a recent graduate) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) This position requires successful fellowship training in pediatric radiology or equivalentThe University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and the State of Illinois offer competitive wages, benefit programs and resources for employees.
