Job Summary:
Cardiac Telemetry Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical FLOAT duties is needed in Hickory, North Carolina. This position involves providing care to general cardiac patients ranging from young adults to elderly adults within a family-oriented unit. The role requires adaptability to float to various units such as Intermediate Care or Surgical units, and candidates must possess strong skills in using Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo equipment. The assignment starts on August 3, 2026, and includes night shifts.
Job Details:
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Associates degree; minimum 2 years of clinical experience in telemetry or medical-surgical units; located in or willing to work in Hickory, NC 28601
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic health record system; familiarity with common diagnoses such as Chest Pain, A-fib, CHF, and post-care for cardiac caths (groin & radial), VATs
Additional Notes: No float restrictions; Cerner system experience is mandatory; dress code includes any color scrubs.
