Registered Nurse(RN) / Travel / Cardiac surgery

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Kalispell, Montana.
Job Description & Requirements

Unit: CVOR
Number of ORs: 1 for CV, but 16 total ORs
2 years of CV experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, but prefer travel experience
Required: BLS, ACLS
EMR: Meditech - preferred
Medication dispensing: Pyxis
Case Types: CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, Sternotomy, thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, VATs, aortic repairs, fistulas, peripheral cases, fem-pops, carotid endarterectomies
No ECMO here
Cases performed in a day: 1-2 cases
Skills required: Experience with above cases
No Anesthesia Tech, so must be comfortable placing Swanz and central lines
MUST be comfortable with all specialties in OR, not just CV. This does include high level neuro surgeries as well as Robotics (DaVinci XI and DV5) and pediatric cases
Will float into the Main OR and OR North (at the same facility)
On call: Once every third day and once every third weekend. Splitting call with 2 other CVOR RNs. Will work with other RNs to make call schedule. Will also be backup trauma call while on call
30 minute response time
Holiday Expectations? Could be on call for holidays
