A wonderful client is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join their long-tenured team in Bridgehampton, NY.
This is an excellent opportunity for a polished, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining a luxury home to the highest standards. The role is highly hands-on and requires a strong work ethic, service mindset, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Private home experience is required. An immediate start is preferred.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive daily, deep, and seasonal cleaning of the residence, with special care for fine materials and surfaces
Work collaboratively with other Housekeepers under the guidance of a House Manager
Assist with laundry and the ironing of clothes and linens
Help with household tasks like setting tables, meal prep, and clean-up when requested by the family's chef
Run occasional household errands as needed
Qualifications
Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private, high-end home or as a yacht steward/stewardess.
Excellent, verifiable references
Outstanding hands-on cleaning skills with a strong eye for detail
Ability to anticipate the family's needs while maintaining a professional and discreet presence.
Strong English communication skills
Service mindset and ability
Enjoys a team-oriented environment
Schedule:
Off-season, Monday to Friday, approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The principals are happy to consider candidates who prefer and earlier start
In-season, generally, Monday to Friday.
Hours may vary to accommodate the family's schedule
The ability to work some weekends to assist with entertaining is essential during the summer season

Compensation:
Excellent base compensation of $50-$60/hour depending on experience and qualifications
