Inventory Cycle Counter - (Weekend Shift)

Under the general supervision of the Financial Program Supervisor, this position is responsible for the operation of the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility (MSDF) receiving and shipping dock and the maintenance of warehoused items. Duties include the receiving of materials purchased for the MSDF Canteen and attendant bookkeeping functions; shipping of materials through common carrier and through the MSDF delivery system to all intra-institution users, store received materials properly and maintain a neat, clean and safe warehouse environment.

Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensations Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. Substantial leave time including at least 3.5 weeks of vacation/personal time, nine paid holidays, and ample accrued sick time that rolls over each year.

Experience maintaining inventory and stocks

Experience supervising, training, and/or monitoring other staff on job duties

Must meet the standards for driving a vehicle under the DOA Fleet Policy

Ability to climb on and off of truck beds.

Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other equipment.
