Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live 50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong orthopedic experience/background required.
Required Credentials:
- Dysrhythmia exam required.
Preferred Credentials:
- Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification RN-BC preferred.
Unit Details:

• Adolescent, adult, and geriatric medical-surgical orthopedic population including total joint replacements, TIA, and stroke workups.
• Common drips include Lasix and Heparin.
• Uses wound vacs, JP drains, colostomies, nephrostomy tubes, NG tubes, rectal tubes, suprapubic catheters, G-tubes, J-tubes, and central lines.
• Oxygen modalities include nasal cannula, high-flow cannula, BiPAP at night only, non-rebreather, Venturi mask, face mask with oral surgeries, and capnography with PCAs.
• Support staff includes PCTs and HUC.

14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required for submission

• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
• PCCN (Progressive Care Nursing (Adult))
