Requirements

• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Compact state RN license required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Key clinical competencies: medical/surgical and post-operative care, surgical/trauma skills (wound care, chest tubes, surgical drains), tracheostomy care, high-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP management, PCA management, IV starts/maintenance, PICC/central line care, feeding tube care, blood product administration, phlebotomy

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adults and geriatrics in a medical/surgical setting.
• Manage post-operative patients, ensuring appropriate care and monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and post-discharge needs.

Compliance / Notes

• Orientation: 24 hours
• Dress Code: Solid navy blue uniforms/scrubs (print tops not allowed for licensed nursing staff)
• Parking: Free in unrestricted employee/visitor surface lots
