Contract RN - Telemetry Unit (Nights)
Location: Austin, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night Shift)
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac and respiratory care skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
Monitor patient conditions and interpret cardiac rhythms.
Administer medications and manage cardiac drips (non-titrated).
Perform essential procedures including stress tests, heart catheterizations, and tube insertions.
Collaborate with other health care professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current RN license.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Experience in cardiac rhythm interpretation and respiratory management preferred.
Team player with a proactive approach to patient care.
