Shift:
Manages front office responsibilities, including appointment bookings, insurance verification, patient check-in, and check-out processes.
Rooms patients, conducts screenings, takes medical histories, records vital signs, and performs medication reconciliation.
Prepares patients and examination rooms for physical assessments or procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Ensures medical equipment is functioning properly, maintains adequate supplies, and ensures medications are not expired.
Responds to and returns telephone calls related to clinical needs, triages appropriately, and assists with referrals as needed.
Completes logs for CLIA compliance and other regulatory requirements, and follows policies on cleaning and sterilization of instruments.
Assists with the completion of prior authorizations, worker's compensation paperwork, and other administrative tasks.
