Rumson, New Jersey Rumson Country Club, a private club located on the beautiful Jersey Shore, is hiring Servers to join our exceptional Food & Beverage team. Our renowned dining program is an integral part of the Rumson Country Club experience, and we are seeking talented, service-oriented individuals to deliver outstanding hospitality to our members and their guests.
Position Overview
The Server provides table service to members and guests by taking food and beverage orders, delivering items promptly, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
Duties and Responsibilities

Greet members and guests as they are seated; ensure tables are clean and properly set with utensils, napkins, and other necessities.
Distribute menus and present daily specials.
Answer questions regarding menu items.
Take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items promptly.
Ensure food is prepared correctly and to members satisfaction; return any incorrect or improperly prepared items to the kitchen.
Identify and communicate members or guests special dietary needs or requests to the kitchen staff.
Clear plates and reset tables as guests finish their meals.
Prepare checks and collect payments.
Assist with general restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area, restocking, and preparing silverware and condiments.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to take and deliver orders accurately.
Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Education and Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Previous serving experience preferred.
Experience serving wine and liquor preferred.
Must obtain an Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) license from the Borough of Rumson.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Ability to lift, balance, and carry trays of food up to 25 lbs.
Must be available to work some Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Rate of Pay: $18.00 $22.00 per hour, based on experience
