Job Description Job Title: Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Our team works closely together to deliver comprehensive general dentistry services, as well as specialty services through our independent contractors. The Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) will play a vital role in delivering high-quality general dentistry care. Place, contour, and finish dental restorations (fillings).
Take impressions, pour models, and fabricate temporary crowns/bridges.
Take and process digital dental radiographs.
Provide chairside assistance during exams, cleanings, and procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate charting and patient records in the dental software system.
Prepare operatories, sterilize instruments, and follow strict infection control protocols.
Help manage dental supplies and inventory.
Strong knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and materials.
Previous experience in a general dentistry office.
Familiarity with dental practice management software and digital x-ray systems.
Bilingual (Spanish and English )preferred
