Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown (Nights)

Key Responsibilities
Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Deliver direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting during night shift hours.
Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
May be required to float to the Emergency Department as directed.
Required Qualifications
Active Iowa RN license (or compact license accepted per state requirements).
Minimum of 2 years of Stepdown / PCU experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – American Heart Association required.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
Valid Driver's License required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
Familiarity with Emergency Department workflows is a plus.
