Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), is seeking a dedicated physician for a long-term contract assignment at the Tsaile Health Center in Tsaile, Arizona. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Full-Time Hours

Contract Type: 1099 Government Contractor (Locum)

The Family Practice Physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan, with a focus on improving health outcomes in the American Indian and Alaska Native population.

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages

Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and medical histories

Provide patient education on disease prevention and health maintenance

Collaborate with clinical staff on quality improvement initiatives

Follow all IHS infection control and safety protocols

Long-term, stable contract with extension potential

Consistent weekday schedule – no weekends or holidays

Indian Preference Policy

Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services follows an Indian Preference Policy. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care

Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.Current DEA registration

Experience with Indian Health Services (IHS) or tribal healthcare systems preferred

S. citizen residing primarily in the United States

Must be able to pass a federal background/security clearance
