???? What You’ll Actually Be Doing (Besides “Estimating”)

You’ll be the translator between blueprints and reality, turning architectural ambition into grounded, buildable, financially sound projections.

You will:

Dissect plans, specs, and drawings like a detective reading a mystery novel where the culprit is always “unexpected cost creep”

Build detailed cost estimates that don’t just guess, but anticipate, predict, and quietly outsmart chaos

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors like a conductor tuning a very opinionated orchestra

Hunt down pricing data, labor rates, material costs, and scope gaps like a budget archaeologist in the ruins of “it should be cheaper than that”

Identify risks before they grow teeth

Turn “this might work” into “this is buildable, profitable, and defensible”
