Manual Machinist

This is a hands-on role where you'll repair and restore industrial reciprocating compressor equipment. Every day brings a new challenge as you machine precision components and help return critical customer equipment to service.

Monday-Friday schedule
1st Shift: 7:30 AM

Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and horizontal boring mills to repair industrial equipment
Machine precision components from raw materials using blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings
Perform complete repairs on customer equipment in our Aftermarket Service Center
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tight tolerances
Determine machining methods, layouts, and order of operations
Sharpen, repair, and maintain cutting tools
Perform minor machine maintenance and maintain accurate production records
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery
Strong understanding of shop mathematics and precision measuring equipment
Self-motivated with pride in producing quality work
High School Diploma or GED
