Echocardiography TechEchocardiography TechnologistPosition Objective: Performs echocardiographic procedures using special equipment to measure calculate and report pertinent patient data to facilitate accurate diagnostic outcome.Essential Job Duties:Conducts Echocardiograms as requested throughout the Medical Center including all patient rooms and the emergency room.Explains procedure to patients providing instructions and direct care to ensure accuracy and patient comfort.Assesses data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient requirement.Recognizes artifacts eliminates probable sources and troubleshoots minor equipment problems.Consistently meets department standards for RVUs while maintaining quality work.Processes images acquired from different modalities according to established policies and procedures.Performs data entry as it relates to procedures in PACS and Electronic Health Record.Practices radiation safety and ensures that other staff and students are compliant.Obtains pertinent clinical data adequately as it relates to procedures performed.Analyzes processes and reports outcomes in a timely manner.Educational/Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDGraduated from an accredited ultrasound program specializing in echocardiographyTwo years' experience performing adult echocardiograms and stress echocardiogramsPay Range: 43—50 USDLuminis Health Benefits Overview:Medical Dental and Vision InsuranceRetirement Plan (with employer match for employees who work more than 1000 hours in a calendar year)Paid Time OffTuition Assistance BenefitsEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramPaid HolidaysDisability and Life/AD&D for full-time employeesWellness ProgramsEmployee Assistance Programs and moreBenefit offerings based on employment status
