Phlebotomist - Lab Phlebotomy
$23 - $33 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float for its Fremont, CA laboratory location. The role involves collecting blood specimens across multiple patient care sites, performing data entry, processing billing, and maintaining specimen logs. This float position offers exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical environments.
Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and related analyses
Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information as required
Travel between multiple clinical sites and provide customer service to patients
Requirements
California state-issued phlebotomy license (CPT) or active application filed at hire
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
At least 21 years of age
Pass standardized color blindness test
Six months or more experience with geriatric and pediatric patients
Compensation: $23.00-$33.00 base plus $1.50/hr float incentive and mileage reimbursement
