Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting for a System Administrator to support our contract at PEOSTRI in Orlando, FL.

The System Administrator is a hybrid remote/in-office position primarily responsible for configuring, deploying and maintaining RHEL virtual servers and virtualization technologies within a DoD environment. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, implementing security measures, and supporting end users to ensure the organization's IT infrastructure runs efficiently and securely.

Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers, operating systems, and applications

Managing and maintaining the virtual environment within VMware product line

Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of IT infrastructure

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory or other identity management platforms

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely support to end users

Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Maintain Cyber Security standards and requirements within RHEL and virtualization technologies

Assist with planning and executing system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments

Collaborate with IT team members and vendors to resolve complex technical issues

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology OR 4 years of equivalent work experience.

Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) a plus

Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)

Understanding of cybersecurity best practices

Scripting skills (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, or Python) preferred

A fully adjudicated DOD Secret clearance is required to Start
