Hospital LPN - Day and Night Shifts

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Join a dynamic Orthopedic and Surgical unit, featuring a capacity of 35 beds and a dedicated team of 11 staff members. Our unit operates with distinct staffing for day and night shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care.
The unit specializes in a variety of surgical procedures, including:

Bariatric procedures (e.g., Gastric Bypass, Gastric Sleeves)
Orthopedic surgeries (e.g., Total Hip Replacements, Total Knee Replacements)
General surgeries (e.g., Laparoscopic Cholecystectomies, Laparoscopic Appendectomies)
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

Current BLS certification
Bariatric Certification
Med/Surg Certification
Orthopedic Certification
ACLS Certification
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated team player with a positive attitude, committed to providing exceptional care to patients.
Our dress code guidelines are as follows:

Scrubs: Navy scrub top and pant
Nail Policy: Must be clean and healthy
Hair: Neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors
Facial Hair: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos: Should be covered as much as possible; those that cannot be covered will be addressed on an individual basis
Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
It is expected that staff be adaptable and willing to float to other areas as needed, and adhere to attendance policies.
Weekend shifts may include:

• 4 weekend shifts per schedule or 2 full weekends
• Night shifts include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Day shifts include Saturday and Sunday
