Health Care Nurse

RN - MedSurg/Tele

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in MedSurg/Telemetry. The ideal candidate should have a background in managing patients with various medical conditions. Common patient types include stroke, COPD, chest pain, altered mental status, and GI bleed. Support within the department includes Certified Nursing Assistants who assist with patient care tasks. Charge nurses may or may not have a patient assignment. Phlebotomy services are available 24/7. Telemetry monitoring is provided continuously. Candidates should be comfortable with tasks such as trach care, PIV starts, and drain/tube management. Floating between facilities may be required, contingent upon regional needs. Scheduled shifts consist of rotating weekends, with expectations to work a majority of holidays. A total of 6 days off may be approved, excluding holidays.
