Schedule: Day shift (Additional shift: FLSA: Non-exempt, Regular, Full time
Travel: Up to 5%
Telework: Not Eligible for Telework
Provides administrative support, technical assistance, and project coordination for Units I-IV. Responsibilities include data analysis, reporting, scheduling, and client interaction in a warm, inviting environment while supporting the mission of State Supported Living Centers for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Attend work regularly and work scheduled shifts, including overtime when required.
Ensure completion of assignments given to administrative assistants.
Track completion of assigned in-services and special projects for the unit.
Track data collection for SASSLC Management Plan including CT&D training, employee evaluations, and active treatment activities.
Complete monthly reports for State Office requirements.
Coordinate activities and projects.
Prepare and present complex data analysis using available software.
Ensure staff receive mandatory training within established timeframes, as evidenced by CT&D reports.
Coach staff when performance or conduct problems are noted; Participate in disaster response or COOP activation as needed, possibly requiring alternate shift patterns or locations.
Working knowledge of office practice and administrative procedures.
Business English, spelling, punctuation, and math proficiency.
Knowledge of Windows and Excel.
Proficiency in electronic data and word processing software.
Ability to apply departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to office management and effective communication.
Ability to work independently on complex clerical tasks.
Ability to maintain complex clerical records and prepare accurate reports from varied statistical data.
Ability to supervise other administrative assistant staff and coordinate assignment delegation.
Registrations, Licensure or Certifications
Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent.
Two years of experience performing moderately complex clerical and administrative assistance work.
Applicants must pass fingerprint criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks including the Client Abuse/Neglect Reporting System (CANRS), Nurse Aide, Medication Aide, Employee Misconduct, and HHS List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
