Position We are seeking a dependable, experienced Phlebotomist for a full-time day shift role. You will play a key part in accurate specimen collection and transport while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires confident, independent work, daily driving using your personal vehicle, and comfort with processing specimens in non-clinical settings, including patient homes and vehicles.
Description Full-time, W2, based in Draper/Salt Lake City, UT area. Schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection per established protocols
Accurately input and verify patient/specimen data using a tablet (smartphones not permitted for patient data)
Follow the proper order of draw and assist with specimen processing
Travel between patient locations using your personal vehicle
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow infection control protocols
Communicate effectively with dispatch, lab staff, and clinics
Maintain and replenish mobile phlebotomy supplies
Follow all safety, regulatory, and infection control guidelines
Support cross-training efforts and assist with special assignments as needed
Required Qualifications Active and valid phlebotomy certification for the state of Utah
At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience outside of training or donation centers (inpatient or geriatric population strongly preferred)
Reliable personal vehicle for daily use on the job
Valid auto insurance and a clean driving record
Comfortable drawing blood in non-clinical settings such as patient homes and tight spaces
Proficiency in pediatric, geriatric, capillary, and venipuncture collections
Professionalism in diverse patient and facility settings
Familiarity with HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols
Comfort using routing apps and mobile technology
Preferred Qualifications Experience in mobile phlebotomy or home health
Knowledge of the order of draw and standard collection protocols
Familiarity with phlebotomy equipment (ETS, butterfly systems)
Interest in long-term growth or cross-training opportunities

Mileage reimbursement included at the IRS standard rate
