Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical/surgical patients within the Med Surg units
• Float to all Med Surg areas as needed, following unit protocols and patient needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered; monitor responses and document findings
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, recognize changes in condition, and escalate to the team promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure safe, effective care
• Document care in the EPIC electronic medical record; ensure accurate handoffs and discharge planning

Requirements

• Active RN license; Nursys license verification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Ability to float to all Med Surg areas as needed
• No time off requests (NO RTO) during the assignment
• Profile materials: resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, skills checklist, professional references, certification card, Nursys verification
