Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of nursing experience required Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience strongly preferred Strong prioritization, critical thinking, and time management skills De-escalation training preferred; CPI preferred Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused healthcare environment Comfort working in a fast-paced emergency nursing setting with changing patient needs Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients Assess, prioritize, and manage patients in a fast-moving clinical environment Support care for patients requiring advanced equipment and emergency procedures Assist with procedures such as chest tube management and port placement Maintain a calm, professional approach when supporting de-escalation needs Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe patient outcomes Adapt to unit needs, including occasional floating as assigned Apply now for this Kansas City travel nursing opportunity and join a dedicated emergency care team today.
