This role is responsible for leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A), cost accounting, and performance reporting to drive data-informed decision-making and operational efficiency. Acting as a strategic liaison between Finance, Operations, Sales, and Product Development, this position delivers actionable insights through detailed financial modeling, variance analysis, and KPI development. The Finance Manager plays a critical role in improving margin performance, enhancing cost visibility, and supporting scalable growth. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts across business unitsDevelop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning and decision-makingAnalyze financial performance, with emphasis on sales, margin, and product-level profitabilityIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to leadershipPartner with cross-functional leaders to align financial outcomes with business objectivesCost Accounting & Product CostingDevelop and maintain standard costing processes, including annual cost rollupsPartner with Operations to analyze manufacturing costs (labor, materials, overhead)Support new product development initiatives through cost modeling and margin analysisCollaborate with SAP/IT teams to ensure accuracy of cost structures, BOMs, and routingsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiativesVariance Analysis & Performance ManagementPerform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods)Identify key performance drivers and communicate findings to senior leadershipDevelop and monitor KPIs and operational metrics aligned to financial targetsEnhance reporting tools and dashboards to improve visibility and accountabilityBusiness Partnership & ReportingServe as a finance business partner to Operations, Sales, and Product Development teamsPrepare and present monthly financial reports, dashboards, and executive summariesSupport strategic initiatives through financial analysis and scenario modelingDrive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities in partnership with BI and IT teamsSupport audits, compliance, and internal controls as neededParticipate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiativesEducation / Qualifications / ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field6+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environmentStrong expertise in cost accounting and standard costing methodologiesProven experience in FP&A, financial modeling, and performance analysisAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, large datasets, pivot tables)Experience with ERP systems (SAP ECC or S/4HANA preferred)Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into actionable business insightsStrong business acumen with experience partnering cross-functionallyExperience in a multi-site manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau or similar)Exposure to product costing, profitability analysis, and operational financeBenefitsCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits programMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (generous employer contribution)Employer-paid Life, Short-term, and Long-term Disability InsuranceSupplemental benefit options available401(k) with employer match and immediate vestingHybrid Work Schedule3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO)11 Paid Holidays in 2026Uzin Utz North America is an equal opportunity employer.
