WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Salem, MA. Job Function :

Shift: 40 hrs | 5x8 Rotating Day/Evenings.
Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR.
Prepare the operating room for procedures and assist with room turnover.
Assist with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Handle and label specimens according to policy.
Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection-control standards.
Identify and initiate correct ive actions when necessary.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow.

Active Massachusetts RN License required
BLS (AHA) required
BSN preferred
CNOR preferred
Scrub experience preferred
1-2 years OR nursing experience
Must be able to circulate independently
Strong aseptic technique required
Multispecialty OR experience required
Experience with Mako and da Vinci surgical systems preferred
