How you'll make an impact in this role

Execute precise radiation treatments as prescribed by the clinical team, ensuring each patient receives the exact dosage needed for their personalized healing plan.

Collaborate closely with physicians and dosimetrists to review and deliver complex treatment plans, acting as a final safeguard for patient safety and clinical accuracy.

Prepare and position patients with both technical precision and a compassionate touch, utilizing advanced imaging and marking techniques to ensure maximum comfort and treatment efficacy.

Manage the integrity of patient care records and imaging data, ensuring every detail of the treatment journey is documented accurately for the broader care team.

Maintain a high-performance clinical environment by overseeing the calibration and readiness of advanced equipment, such as linear accelerators, to prevent delays in patient care.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following required:

Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiation Therapy credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need

Radiation Therapist licensed in the state of Kansas prior to start date.
