Security Officer at Providence Portland Medical Center- Full-Time, Night Schedule

Receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer, performs a variety of security protective duties to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Enforces PH&S, facility and security policies and regulations. and provide protective services to high risk areas. Mobile positions will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, patient transports, site surveys, threat assessments, patient standbys, alarm/nuisance call response, special details and assist in training of clinic personnel. • Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• 1 year of experience using personal computer with standard Microsoft applications.

Coursework/Training and College level coursework in professionally related fields such as criminal justice, social work, psychology or any social science.

• 1 year of Security/law enforcement experience such as corrections, police, reserve and military police.
