Baby Night Nurse

Post Partum Registered Nurse - Night Shift Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Post Partum care for a night shift position. This is a 13-week contract position, with an option for 36 or 48 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be comfortable working with high-risk labor and delivery patients.

Schedule This role requires commitment to six weekend shifts within six weeks or every third weekend.

Responsibilities Provide care for mothers and newborns in the postpartum unit, ensuring safety and comfort.

Administer medications and monitor patients for signs of complications.

Assist with breastfeeding support and education for new parents.

Conduct assessments and document care in the electronic charting system (Epic).

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license valid in Kansas or Compact RN license.

BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications required at the time of submission.

At least 2 years of experience in a postpartum or similar setting.
