Weekend ICU Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Registered Nurse - Cardio Vascular ICU
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Cardio Vascular ICU to provide top-quality care for critically ill patients on a 12-hour day shift.

Responsibilities:

Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and multi-system organ failure
Thermoregulation, CABG, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump management
Care for patients with Impella, Post Cardiac Surgery preparation, and Pre/Post Cardiac Cath intervention
Monitor Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz and manage Valve Replacement/Repair
Perform CVVHD/CRRT, IV therapy, arterial line, and blood product administration
Administer medications including cardiac and vasoactive drips
Manage BiPAP, CPAP, ventilated patients, and high flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
Interpret ABGs, perform suctioning, and manage ventilator settings
Practice infection prevention and isolation precautions
Oversee surgical wound care and utilize wound vac
Requirements:

• 3 years CV ICU experience, Must pass EKG test
• Active IL RN license, CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in Epic, charge experience preferred
• Ability to float to Glenbrook MICU, Evanston ICU, or Highland Park ICU if needed
• Available to work every other weekend and Memorial Day
