Job Description
The role involves providing nursing care to dementia patients, specifically focusing on those with behavioral disturbances. The candidate will work within a geriatric behavioral health unit, engaging with patients and ensuring their needs are met with a compassionate and calm approach.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to geriatric patients with dementia.
Monitor and report on patient behaviors and responses to treatment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records using the EHR system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of experience working with dementia patients.
• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• BLS certification.
• Check against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date.
