Full Time Emergency Veterinarian

Thrive Hoffman Estates is looking for a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

You’ll provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. You’ll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.
At Thrive Pet Healthcare - Hoffman Estates, we provide emergency, specialty, and critical care for dogs and cats in Hoffman Estates and the greater Chicago area. Located on Higgins Road, we are conveniently located to support all the pets in Hoffman Estates, Chicago, and the surrounding communities. Our 25,000 square foot multi-specialty, 24/7 emergency facility provides streamlined, advanced care services for your patients' critical and specialty care needs.
Our expert emergency and critical care professionals will be there for you when you need us. Our level of care is maintained by the state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and highly trained staff used to treat your pet. The floor plan boasts a modern and open-concept design.
At Hoffman Estates, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, you will have the support, tools, and resources to elevate your skills. Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $180K/year. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
State Veterinary Board License:
Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended
