Responsibilities

Process all new vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.

Prepares tax and title documents.

*
Stock vehicles

*
Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

*
Advise runner as to what is being done on a daily basis.

*
Verifies that funds have been collected before processing title applications and complies all deals.

*
Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.

*
Complies and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles.

*
Stays abreast of title regulations.

Qualifications

*
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

*
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

*
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

*
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.

*
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

*
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

*
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

*
CDK experience a plus, not a requirement
