The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are picked according to customer specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining efficiency and accuracy within our operations.Essential functions & key responsibilities:Efficiently pick and pack orders based on customer requests and shipping schedulesVerify the accuracy of picked items against order lists to ensure completeness and correctnessOperate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and effectively (if applicable)Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiencyAssist with inventory management by reporting discrepancies or low stock levelsCollaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlinesFollow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environmentRequirements:Standup Forklift experience is requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a warehouse or shipping role preferredAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order pickingAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standardsGood physical stamina, as the role requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periodsBasic math skills for counting and measuring items accuratelyFamiliarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plusExcellent communication skills to work effectively within a team setting
