Warehouse Person/3rd Shift/Nights

Warehouse Operator – Webster, NY fairlife, LLC is a Chicago‑based nutrition company that creates great‑tasting, nutrition‑rich dairy products. The new manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is a 750,000‑sq‑ft greenfield plant expected to be operational in late 2025; the company will hire 250 new employees and bring in ~5 million pounds of milk per day.

Shift Schedule 12‑hour night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off. Night shift includes every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Shift differential: $2 per hour.

Job Purpose The Warehouse Operator loads and unloads trailers, maintains cleanliness and organization, and completes necessary paperwork accurately. The role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and supports plant operations while maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary work area.

Responsibilities Adhere to best practices for food safety and quality while promoting fairlife’s culture of “Believe in Better.”

Ensure proper use and maintenance of the powered industrial fleet and other warehouse equipment.

Accurately confirm supplier receipts, enter receipt data, create shipping documentation, and file manifests, certificates of authenticity, and bills of lading.

Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material‑handling, and shipping requirements; Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow to support sustainable inventory levels in the 112,000‑sq‑ft racked storage and 90,000‑sq‑ft ASRS.

Inform other departments of necessary changes or inventory discrepancies.

Take daily inventory of consumable supplies to ensure sufficient quantities.

Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse or logistics experience; food and beverage experience a plus.

Experience with powered industrial equipment.

Basic computer/data‑entry skills (WMS experience a plus).

Ability to learn and apply warehouse automation.

Ability to work different shifts, including off shifts.

Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements 12‑hour shift alternating sitting, standing, and walking.

Exposure to ammonia, acids, caustics, chlorines, paints, particles, oils, lubricants, steam, pneumatics, fumes.

Use of PPE and equipment; ability to flex scheduled hours.

Indoor manufacturing floor with potential exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, sparks, oil, and smoke.

Food Safety Requirements Report repairs or adjustments that may affect product quality or food safety.

Follow and observe the color‑coded container policy while in production areas.

Perform all duties necessary to meet company, customer, and government requirements.

Initiate actions to prevent non‑conformities affecting food safety and quality.

Identify and record problems relating to food safety and quality systems.

Control further processing or delivery of non‑conforming products until issues are corrected.

Salary Range $24–$26 USD per hour
