TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901!

Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit serving an adult to geriatric population with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4–5 within a 36-room unit averaging a daily census of 35
Document accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR, Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
Float within the facility and within scope of practice as operationally needed
Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling expectations, including working every other weekend and applicable major holidays falling within the assignment period
Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience; Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Background in telemetry or cardiac step-down nursing strongly preferred
Local candidates are welcome to apply and are considered on the same basis as traveling candidates
