Job Summary:

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves providing specialized patient care within a CCL setting, including assessments, procedures, and post-procedure care. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Schedule: Rotating shift hours, with shifts typically scheduled from 9am to 5pm on Friday, and Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associates or Bachelor's Degree, RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, and 2 years of critical care experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in cardiac telemetry monitoring and/or cardiac imaging, and in radiology outpatient or interventional radiology imaging.
Clinical Skills & Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive pre-procedural assessments, establish and maintain IV access, administer medications such as beta-blockers and nitroglycerin, monitor patients continuously during procedures, respond to contrast reactions and emergencies, document care accurately, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Additional Information: Experience with strong IV insertion skills and ability to access implanted chest ports are required. Knowledge of contrast safety practices, emergency response procedures, and familiarity with departmental protocols are essential.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Schedule: 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week, scheduled on Friday and Monday through Friday shifts.
