The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Student Worker (Concessions) at West Lake Park Marina and/or Hollywood North Beach Park.

This Job Announcement will remain open until a sufficient number of applications are received . These positions will work in various cash points throughout the park including the front office, they will be responsible for proper food handling and cash handling. Under general supervision, receives and processes monies received for a variety of County fees and rents a variety of recreation-oriented equipment at an assigned park or facility.
Works under close supervision according to set procedures.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Must be currently enrolled in a state licensed school, college, or university, must be at least 16 years of age, and must demonstrate student status for the duration of the appointment.

Preferences Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Performs various entry level duties at varying locations in Broward County; Uses metrics and benchmarks to monitor accuracy and quality. Holds self to high standards of performance; conveys information clearly, concisely, and professionally when speaking or writing.
Maneuvers comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics. Depending on area of assignment, for the safety and wellbeing of our horses, as well as our patrons and staff, we have a weight limit of 225 pounds for the rider.
Performs light work that involves walking or standing most of the time and involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis, or skill, adeptness and speed in the use of fingers, hands or limbs on repetitive operation of electronic office equipment within moderate tolerances or limits of accuracy.
