Clinic Physician - Cardiology

We are seeking a Board‑Examinated & Board‑Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our top hospital to meet increasing patient demand.

Responsibilities & Schedule

Outpatient and inpatient care

Standard office hours: Monday‑Thursday 8 am‑5 pm, Friday 8 am‑12 pm

Clinic: 3 days per week; Lab: 1 day per week; Call: 1 day per week

Call schedule includes 1:4 STEMI call with hospital, 1 weekend per month covered by MUSC IC physicians, and a 1:6 rotation for general cardiology call. No more than 10 call days per month.

Protected administrative time: 4 hours per week

Average patient volume: 20–24 patients per day (20 minutes for new, 20 minutes for follow‑up; schedule modifiable to fit the new physician within reason)

Staff: 5 APPs covering clinic, inpatient consults, and stress lab; dedicated nursing, front‑office, ultrasound, and RN staff with cardiac care expertise

Supported by a full cardiac device clinic and technicians

Scope of Work

Outpatient interventional cardiology consultations, follow‑ups, and diagnostic testing. Hospitalists handle admissions.

Advanced diagnostics: TTE/TEE, treadmill/nuclear stress testing, cardiac CT, MRI, 256‑slice CT scanner.

Full cardiac device clinic support.

Clinic & Facility

Facilities: 2‑room cath lab, 10 operating rooms, 14‑bed cardiac monitoring unit

Clinic adjacent to cath lab for streamlined workflow

In‑house wound care with hyperbaric chambers for cardiac and wound care integration.

Imaging/Diagnostics

Equipment: DSA, 256‑slice CT scanner, 3T and 1.5T MRI, in‑office ultrasound.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary plus WRVU bonuses; income potential up to $1 million

Sign‑on bonus: $40 k +
