Armed Security Officer - Full Time

As an Armed Security Officer in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication.
Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
