Registered Nurse
Location: 3100 Shore Drive Virginia Beach, VA Reports to: Director of Nursing FLSA: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Schedule: Full-Time Night Shift (7pm-7am). 3 days one week, 4 days the next, with an every other weekend rotation.

As an RN in our beautiful Long-Term center on the Chesapeake Bay, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating clinical care, and ensuring exceptional resident outcomes. This is not just a jobit's an opportunity to foster innovation, and shape the future of healthcare delivery.
Recognize and inform the appropriate physician of significant changes in the resident's health status and for adverse reaction(s) to medication.
Maintain medication and resident's records.
Participate in resident assessment and care planning reviews and revise residents' assessments and care plans.
Insure problems and complaints involving nursing services are reported to the Team Leader in a timely and appropriate manner.
Communicate and coordinate care with residents and their families/significant others.
Document and lead others in the documentation of resident care.
Direct, participates and/or assists staff in delivering care.
Check for appropriate amount and condition of equipment and supplies; order supplies and equipment as necessary.
Support and participate in facility quality assurance programs.
Ensure that unit practices are consistent with regulatory requirements.
Review, transcribe and implement physician orders.
Practice and ensure staff adheres to infection control measures.
Supportive and Compassionate (to both patients and nursing staff).
Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Virginia (or compact).
A minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
Must be proficient with all software applications and systems utilized in The Hoy Center. (Google, Microsoft, PCC, etc.)
Compensation: $42.00 - $45.00 + per hour (commensurate with experience) plus competitive night-time differential.
