Phlebotomist

Tryfacta is seeking a Phlebotomist for our client in Portland, Oregon 97216. This is a 13-week contract assignment. Position Title: Phlebotomist

Shift: Night Shift – 10-hour shifts

Complete documentation and paperwork for laboratory and reference testing.

Explain collection procedures to patients and obtain necessary information.

Handle missed collections, recollections, and difficult phlebotomies according to established procedures.

Monitor and maintain phlebotomy and laboratory equipment as required.

Assist with inventory, supplies, expiration-date checks, and stock rotation.

Perform daily quality controls and proficiency testing as required.

Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Follow all applicable laboratory, safety, regulatory, and infection-control standards.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Phlebotomy certification preferred/required based on applicable state requirements.

EPIC experience required.

Strong venipuncture and specimen-collection skills.

Must comply with required vaccination and occupational health requirements
