Courier Transportation Service

Operates company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages; to check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service; Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; Provides related customer service functions. High school diploma/GED.

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Please refer to policy 4-48 for exact job requirements. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with your state requirements for type of vehicle assigned and have good driving record as outlined in policy. Pay: Starting pay, ($25.65/per hour)25.65 - 38.93 USD Hourly
Additional Details: Mon-Sat w/ one day off during the week tbd at start date Weekday hours vary between 0630am-1230pm Saturday hours vary between 0730am to 630pm Must obtain a SIDA / LAX Ramp badge access must obrain a RAD / AOA badge access
